Ethiopian Airlines has announced the introduction of a new service between Addis Ababa and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), effective June 1. Both routes will be operated with Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
The new Addis Ababa-Sharjah route will operate four times per week:
- Flight ET 622 will depart Addis Ababa every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 22h05 – and arrive in Sharjah at 03h25 the following day.
- The return service (ET 623) will depart Sharjah every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 04h25 – and land in Addis Ababa at 07h45.
The airline is also launching new direct flights between Addis Ababa and Abu Dhabi, UAE, from July 15:
- Flight ET 614 will operate daily – departing Addis Ababa at 21h50 and arriving in Abu Dhabi at 03h10 the following day.
- The return flight (ET 615) will depart Abu Dhabi at 04h25 and arrive in Addis Ababa at 07h45.
