V&A Waterfront welcomes 2025

The V&A Waterfront’s new year’s eve celebration attracted thousands of locals and international visitors to the Cape Town destination.

The event featured live performances by South African artists such as Mi Casa, Matthew Mole, BlackByrd and Dr Victor & The Rasta Rebels. The stage, set against Table Mountain, offered a festive atmosphere with food stalls, sunset cruises and family friendly entertainment.

Over 200 000 visitors attended the celebration throughout the day, highlighting the V&A Waterfront’s status as a hub of community and cultural connection.
