Following her controversial axing of the SA Tourism Board earlier this week, Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille has appointed six members to govern the organisation until a new permanent Board is established:
1. Mzamo Masito (Chairperson)
2. Kholeka Zama (Deputy Chairperson)
3. Shakir Jeeva
4. Khomotso Brian Mosehla
5. Siobhan Leyden
6. Shamilla Chettiar (Department of Tourism representative)
The process to appoint permanent members will be announced in “due course” with nominations open to all eligible individuals, according to a statement issued by De Lille’s office on August 22.
