TAAG increases frequency to São Paulo

TAAG Angola Airlines will provide greater mobility options to its passengers and customers, following the market demand upon the recent codeshare agreement between TAAG Angola and low-cost Brazilian airline, GOL.

As a result of the codeshare, TAAG will add a new flight to the Luanda-São Paulo connection, making six weekly flights overall – up from five previously – from August 2.

The new frequency will be added on Wednesdays, operated by a Boeing 777 aircraft, following the regular night flight departure from Luanda International Airport.

On this route, the average load factor has been an impressive 73%. Ticket sales for the new flight are open already.

More than a point-to-point link, São Paulo and Luanda are positioned as connection hubs between Latin America, Africa, and Europe, with growing transatlantic demand from tourists, families, and the business segment.
