Martin Wiest, Tourvest Destination Management CEO, has painted a bright picture for travel into Africa and South Africa in 2023, and is positive about where Tourvest is headed next. This follows the CEO marking 35 years with the company in early December, 2022.
Wiest’s career in travel began as a guide and bus driver for Welcome Tours (the remains of the company were eventually acquired by Tourvest). Since then, he has been involved in around 200 business acquisitions and steered Tourvest through some of the industry’s biggest moments.
